Just a short mushy romantic tale /PG-13. Clark realizes finally who his heart truly belongs to but is he too late?Spoilers: Not really, unless you haven’t seen any of Season 7 before the Veritas episode: Just borrowing a few memories of some things that happened in Gemini, Persona, Siren and Traveler.
One-Shot Sequel to “I Don’t Love You”Disclaimer: none of the characters are mine; I do not own them or Smallville.Pairing: Chloe/ClarkStatus: Completed/One Shot: Just a short mushy romantic one-shot/PG-13. A tale of a visitor interrupting Clark’s training.Spoilers: Not really, unless you haven’t seen any of Season 7 before the Veritas episode.
Author’s note: I’m just an old fan of all the Superman stories and really enjoy the Smallville shows. My favorites are any episode wherein a worried Clark reveals his feelings for Chloe (whether they be friendship, love, jealousy and most often just plain worry when she’s missing or in trouble). It’s often set my mind to wandering to my version of Clark’s obsession with Chloe. And it finally led me to write this tale of their feelings for each other and what they go through before they admit it.
My version of the history of the characters of Smallville:
Chloe doesn’t come to Smallville until their senior year, Alicia never was, there was only one Red-K experience (with Chloe, not Lana, the recipient of Kal-El’s attention and that kiss at the Talon), Clark was never “human,” Pete did not leave Smallville, and, Clark and Lana were never seriously dating. My timelines of when some things happened are probably way off too, but I had to make them fit into my version of this tale. And of course I had to invent a few rescues of Chloe by Clark.
It’s near the end of summer, four years after high school. The location is at the Kent Farm house.
