I'll be honest Raya is a complete and total stretch but you find a better R.

I'll be honest. I was sad for lana but deep in that RedK part of my heart, I was laughing and cheering my ass off!
I love the fact the she new it was clark right away, granted she'd seen him without glasses for years. I personally never new how she never figured it out. It reminds me of that scene in The New Adventures of Superman with Tempus imitating the Clark Kent to Superman switch and insulting her so blatantly, God it was so awesome. Great story so far and can't wait to finish it!
The Sun and The Moon is a short story explaining what happened in "Fracture" from the point where Chloe dies and how Clark helps her recover to health. My favorite portion of this story is Lana's reaction, as she feels less and less important to Clark.
AHH! What a fluxuation of emotions! As a man, I feel I should be sorely disappointed in myself falling prey to such things but I can't help it!
I'm sure you can imagine how I must have felt when i've been sitting here looking for a decent story for probably the better half of two hours to stumble upon this diamond in the rough of sorts if it's not being too presumptuous. I've only read the first chapter of this story and i'm already hooked! Did you come up with the idea of house arrest first, (presumably from Disturbua) and then pick the moment in the SmallVille Universe or vise versa? Can't wait to keep reading! A big 10 for now!
It is always lovely to know that someone is enjoying my story, and it's always such a nice surprise that you took the time to let me know. This was my first full-length fic, so it's a bit rough around the edges but it will always be special to me. It basically just wrote itself- tumbling out of me for three weeks until I finished it. I don't quite remember, but I think I was definitely inspired by Disturbia, but fueled by the amazing relationship of Clark and Chloe. Thanks again for leaving such a nice comment, and if you are so inclined, please let me know what you think of the additional chapters, and the other stories in this universe.
I planned on making a far more reviews until I had suddenly realized that the story was over! I had just barreled through 40K words in less than 2 hours! I think that my favorite part of this story was how you kept them completely in character throughout the entire story. I always really feel for Chloe when things finally start to takes off and her defences kick in. I can't wait to read the two sequels to see how it all turns out!
After reading this it made me think of songs and the one that made the rest pale in comparison was "Everything" by Lifehouse. Now that I think about it; Lifehouse in general fits perfectly. Another great short story!
The episode "Cure" takes on new meaning and depth when Kara wants to bring Lois in as her secret keeper. Kara's slowly educates Clark on his bond with Chloe, and Chloe meanwhile tests her bond with Clark as she considers a cure for her meteor infection.
In the end, it's really all about magical bracelets and who's right for each other.
I think that this is a great start! Not every story can start off Chlark and all of them need work. I have faith that this story will be amazing! I can't wait to see how Lois takes it!
Even after they finally decided to embark on a relationship based on the events of "House Arrest," Chloe, being as stubborn as she is, has always been unable to believe that her relationship with Clark is the real deal. However, when her cat gets sick, Clark proves without even trying that Chloe is his future.
What a great little vignette! What an odd word. Clark missing a date with Chloe to take care of her cat and putting it under his name as well just seems like something Clark would do. To think all it took to get them into the same house was a sick cat.
Chloe struggles with her crumbling relationship with Jimmy during a time of change and upheaval. Clark struggles with juggling both his hero and everyday duties. In the midst of this tumultuous period in their lives, they seek solace in the strength of their friendship and take a much-needed vacation together, a cruise. But on the high seas, away from their problems, they decide to cross the friendship boundary and change their relationship forever.
Great start! I'm glad to see you enjoy my comments as much as I enjoy commenting! I can't help but feel for Chloe every time this happens. I never expected Jimmy to become a drug addict in the show, and that run in with Davis didn't help any. I'm excited to keep reading!
thank you! I thought the drug addict thing was pretty random too, but eh, I figured if it destroyed that relationship, I could go with it, haha. I hope you enjoy it!
I know exactly where your going with this story... I really wish I wasn't so intuitive. The forshadowing you sneakily in there at the end confirmed my suspisions! I'm definitely sticking to my theory but I hope i'm wrong!
I can't imagine what was in the sushi. I assume meteor rock had to be involved but just kryptonite doesn't just make him throw up unless you made it so. Trents got some explaining to do...
I must admit that although I wish I hadn't, I'm proud of myself for figuring it out! I'm glad Chloe got what she needed whether she meant to or not. I feel bad for Clark although it's probably for the best considering he'll probably be wracked with guilt over what already took place. I usually find it difficult to read stories with sexual interactions because not everybody can do it right but I'm glad that you were able to do it right. So far. Wow did I ramble on...
I find it difficult to write them, which is why most of my stories just "fade to black." But I also think that a lot of people adopt the, "What happens in Vegas..." mantra on vacation, and I wanted to explore a situation that would push the two of them closer towards crossing that line, and how they'd handle it.
You don't know how long I've been waiting for somebody to even mention Clark's longevity! I just wish it was mentioned more often and used more seriously.
I love how you always have these pictures for the occasion! The only 'bad' thing about this is that it's over but at least I have that 80K monster to look forward to! The entire time I read this story (this chapter especially) made me think of the song "Ordinary People" by John Legend and Will.i.am. Don't stop writing!
P.S. For possible future refrence, it's sir.
thank you so much, sir! A dear friend made that picture for me just for the story! I love it! This story was fun to write but I struggled with the pacing and the length. It felt like it just went on and on. I was writing it for a long fic challenge again, but I didn't intend for it to be as long as it turned out to be. But finally I just decided to let it go and let it be as long as it needed to be. My other long story... based on your other comments, I think you'll like it, hehe. And I love that John Legend song!
I think it's pretty obvious that lissette is going to be the cause behind this mysterious "stripping". I'm excited too see how she'll manage to pull it off. I just hope Lana isn't behind it! =( That would kill him, maybe literally!
ha! you are correct, sir/madam. I loathe Lana so I usually avoid writing about her at all. But I can stand her younger bratty cousin. ;)
I think it's safe to assume the massive plothole was Chloe's healing ability. I don't really know if I agree with the way you went with it but i'll be honest; I probably would have come up with a worse way for her to lose her powers. I was kind of surprised when when you didn't just have them call Dr. Hamilton but I guess he didn't show up until the eighth season.
The plothole was actually the destruction/rebuilding of the Fortress! When I wrote House Arrest, the Fortress was destroyed and I basically glossed over all the Lex drama, but then I realized I needed it intact for this story, so I had to put in a line about rebuilding it. As for Chloe's power, there's a reason it seems a bit abrupt. If you notice, this AU has two long stories set in Summer and Spring, and one short story set in Winter. The one missing is Fall/Autumn, which is also symbolic of changing (leaves), only more dark and less hopeful than Spring-type of change. That was supposed to be a shorter vignette set in Fall about the events leading up to Chloe losing her power. Alas, my career took over my life plus I started to hate the show, so I never got around to writing it. But never say never!
Finally got around to finishing this chapter after reading bits and pieces through the day. I can only assume that Clark will give Chloe this 'gift' before he leaves for his training. I'm definitely not sure what it is but I think it's safe to assume that you plan on using That Kryptonian soulmate bracelet... or he's gonna knock her up. You never know! =P
From the moment he started feeling sleepy, I knew he was getting stoned out of his mind! I can admit that i've had a few of those moments myself. I couldn't stop laughing once he got to the cake! Great chapter; I hope the rest are as 'enjoyable' as this one.
glad you enjoyed! so many parts of this story are so angsty, I like to liven it up once in a while. And we had Drunk!Chloe in the last one, so I figured it was Clark's turn!
I love it when i'm right but it really takes he fun out of it. The only real question is who will find out first? and when?
This is now by far my favorite moment of the ENTIRE series. Chloe's not only reconciling with her father but she's finally starting to move on with her life. I can't imagine how you'll twist the feelings when she finds out she's pregnant! I can't wait to read the last two chapters!
Such an amazing read! I'm glad I took the time out to read this. I can't wait to find the time to reread this! I'm looking forward to reading some of your latest material so expect some more reviews, most likely very soon!
It has been a pleasure reading your comments all day. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. I felt kinda bad that you didn't get the Chlark bebe you predicted, but hey, like you said, always being right takes the fun out of it! and it just so happens that I have another long story with that particular plotline... Thanks again for all of your lovely comments and I hope you enjoy the rest of these old stories of mine.
This is a chapter of the longer fic, "Stress Fracture," posted separately as a consideration for those who read the first story and do not read such material.
It takes place at the conclusion of Chapter 15.
I knew this moment was coming the moment they got back to the hotel. I have a feeling I know exactly whats going to come of this. Great job with this chapter though; it flows so smoothly from start to finish and I highly doubt this was made to be PWP. ;P
unsurprisingly, there's a story behind this as well. I wrote this for a long fic challenge and I was one of a few authors who didn't get corresponding artwork for the story. I pouted and Firebunny illustrated my story for me, so I wrote a smut scene "for" her, haha. But I had a few writers tell me that they appreciated that the first story was romantic but clean, so I didn't want to alienate those writers and posted it separately.
Months after walking away from her in Doomsday, Clark returns to Chloe…but finds her a changed woman from the one he left behind.
I got so involved in this story like quite a few of your stories that I didn't expected to hit a snag so quickly (Especially with such a cliffhanger =O) and by snag, I of course mean the fact that there's no more to read!I have so many Question without answers! How much Lana will actually Clark even though Chloe told her not too? How will Clark handle the the emotional piledriver he just recieved? Please update and put me out of my agony!
Thanks for your review, Clark TFF! I'm working hard on the next few chapters, which will answer most of your questions. Unfortunately, real life is very busy right now which leaves me with little time to write - but I hope to update again next week.
So glad you like it, and many thanks once again for your kind review! :-)
ARGH! What a tear jerker!
Not President Ellis?
