Reminds me of All-Star Superman. Which isn't that much similar, really...

The epitome of distilled Firebunny-style wackiness.

There is this phrase "crossed the line twice" to describe something that normally would be offensive, becomes so offensive that it turns funny. A story like that is in a way painful to read but I think it is just because I'm cycling repeatedly between laughing too hard and slapping myself for the craziness of it all.
Chapter 1: Part One -The Luthor Mansion
An explosion at a Luthorcorp plant causes a full emergence of Chloe's latent meteor power... and also creates a few others.

Great story. Well-paced. Loved all the references, like the one from the Superman film.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a coincidence but Van-El is Superman's (imaginary) son from Justice League. Or is it a reference of Lor-Van, Lara's maiden name (and also her father's name)?  However, I recall that kryptonian woman only have the two-part surname before they marry, and change to their husband's surname after that.

And there was a version of Supergirl with actual angelic wings.

Although "classic fans" would find Superman/Supergirl a little uncomfortable...

To below: nice pun on Impulse...

Chapter 1: Chloe Sulllivan: Maid Of Might

The Sun and The Moon is a short story explaining what happened in "Fracture" from the point where Chloe dies and how Clark helps her recover to health. My favorite portion of this story is Lana's reaction, as she feels less and less important to Clark.

Ah, it went off from a good start. I was displeased that nothing is shown of Clark's 18 hours at Chloe's bedside when she didn't have a single heartbeat. Also, I like well-placed symbolism, and symbolism of the sun may just be my favourite when it comes to Superman, and it is something that is rather underused, in my opinion.

Even though I know Chloe can't stay dead, this still succeeded in keeping the suspence and the relief when she comes back to life.

Chloe Sullivan has never really loved anyone but Clark Kent. Believing she's doomed to always love a man who will never return her feelings, Chloe convinces Clark to help her get over him by giving her the one thing she's always wanted-himself. Will a one-night stand be enough to help Chloe let him go?

Hmm. Suspicious. Did Chloe hid a piece of kryptonite nearby?

In the early days, Clark Kent's glasses emits a low-level hypnotic signal to fool people into thinking he is a weaker being - did you get the idea from that?

The ending was perfect.

There is something funny in a really twisted manner about how Lana listens to the other...noises.

Interesting to see an unusual reverse that turns the problem into "woman of steel, man of Kleenex".

And why did you not list Kara/Jimmy and Chloe/Jimmy in the "other pairings"?

Making Lana at least mildly sympathetic is always a good thing.

Looks like I'm not the only one who had the idea of Chloe's healing factor making her immortal. It is just too convenient not to use.

Reminds me of someone whose first impression of Superman is "why does he wears his underwear on the outside"?
