Set after Clark's fight with Doomsday (when he renounced his humanity and walked away) but before season 9 starts.*** Chloe thinks Clark has been sneaking into Watchtower at night to make use of her equipment. She hopes to get proof but gets a whole lot of something else too. (Not exactly dark but Clark is NO saint.) NC-17
Excellent story, I loved it! :)
Any news on the sequel? If you're still writing it, that is. I'd greatly enjoy reading it.
Excellent chapter, and the cold-hearted callousness Clark shows at the end in such a blasé manner is particularly chilling. And ominous.
I look forward to seeing the rest of this piece. :)
Winner of the 2012 Smallville Fandom Creativity Award for Best AU!! :)
If Clark Kent was dead, just who was running around Metropolis? Influenced by dreams that call her to the Fortress, Chloe faces a choice of believing in the man or believing in her heart. Chloe must then figure out the key to stopping Zod and the key to all of her dreams coming true.*** Another Chlarky Season 9 fix that fixes everything!
Sequel to Clark Kent is Dead.
Chloe battles her own desires when her hidden surveillance system reveals just what – or rather who - Clark has been doing every night when he sneaks into Watchtower. She wants answers and but the truth might be even more confusing.
Brilliant first story, and a brilliant sequel!
You mentioned in a previous review for this series that it would probably be a trilogy, Is there any chance of that still, or have you changed your mind? :(
I love this story! XD
(Sequel to Muscle Memory)
Chloe finally gets answers about why Clark has been stealing into her bed every night only to steal her memory away with a kiss. Was it really just Jor-El’s plot to restore the Kryptonian race or were there bigger secrets to uncover? Why does everything come back to the night Clark Kent was declared dead? Can she resist the heat compelling her to give into what Clark wants or is surrender the only hope for her future? The truth remains Chloe’s darkest secret.
Author's Note: Set between the end of season 8 and the beginning of season 9 (though I fudged the timeline a little and assumed she had her little conversation with Emil about the order and delivery of some of computer equipment for Watchtower much earlier, but that really has very little impact on the story)
An excellent end to the trilogy, although... I wouldn't be adverse to a comtinuation either... ;D
Excellent story, well-written and emotional. Hope to see more of your work in the future! :)
